First, let's get familiar with the overall change. Here are a few small images of the old 1-car carport from a few angles. (To see bigger images, scroll down.) You can see a rather small shed on the left side plus a minimal roof for shade (as well as some protection from things like hail storms). Obviously, there is not much security from that carport plus no insulation from heat or cold. Next, just below are a few similar angles showing the new garage.

The new garage is quite attractive. The contrasting colors match the new exterior renovations to the house (which our contractors can also provide in addition to any garage construction needs). You can see that the new garage has ample space for two cars, plus off to the right is a large storage area. That extra room is useful for many things, including as a hiding place to stash Christmas presents (because the kids would never look there).
